Job Title: Tester
Location: Frankfurt, Germany
Salary: €50,000 per annum
Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Tester to join our growing team in Frankfurt. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure our software runs smoothly and meets the highest quality standards. Duties include identifying and documenting bugs, and collaborating closely with our development team to resolve these issues quickly and effectively. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in delivering reliable, user-friendly products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyse system specifications to understand expected behaviour.
- Design, execute and maintain test plans, test cases and test scripts.
- Conduct pre-release and post-release/post-implementation testing.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Report bugs and errors to development teams clearly and promptly.
- Help troubleshoot issues and verify that fixes have been applied correctly.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tester or in a similar role.
- Experience in project management and QA methodology.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
- Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr) and SQL.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
