We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Junior Fullstack-Entwickler (m/w/d) to join our team in Braunschweig, Niedersachsen. In this role, you will play an integral part in the design, development, and maintenance of dynamic and scalable web applications. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will gain experience across both frontend and backend technologies in a collaborative Agile environment.

As a Junior Fullstack Developer, your responsibilities will involve developing clean and efficient code, participating in code reviews, contributing to system architecture, and working closely with UX/UI designers to deliver seamless user experiences. You will also be expected to debug and troubleshoot application issues, implement improvements, and actively participate in team meetings and sprint planning sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop features and functionality across the full technology stack (frontend and backend).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Maintain code quality through writing unit tests and conducting peer reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or relevant practical experience.
  • Foundational knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Experience with backend languages like Node.js, Java, or PHP.
  • Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Basic understanding of RESTful API design and web services architecture.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Good command of English; German language skills are an advantage but not essential.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with containerisation technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and automated testing frameworks.
  • Understanding of security best practices in web development.
