Service-Techniker Kältetechnik
Our client is a company specializing in refrigeration and cooling solutions, fostering a collaborative and solutions-focused work environment. They are seeking dedicated professionals to join their team as Service-Techniker Kältetechnik, responsible for delivering high-quality service directly at customer sites across the region. This role involves conducting maintenance and repairs on cold storage equipment, supporting customer onboarding, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance. The position is vital for maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring the reliability of cooling systems.
Role Overview:
The Service-Techniker Kältetechnik plays a key role in providing on-site technical support for refrigeration systems. The technician will organize and execute nationwide service visits, either from the company’s headquarters or their home location, ensuring timely and effective maintenance and repairs.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Completed training as a Mechatroniker for Kältetechnik or a comparable qualification
• Category I refrigeration license (Kälteschein)
• Self-motivated with a responsible, quality-conscious approach
• Analytical problem-solving skills
• Flexibility, team orientation, and customer focus
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform on-site service visits at customer locations across Germany
• Conduct maintenance and repairs on refrigeration systems and their electronic/mechanical components
• Assist customers with system commissioning and setup
• Diagnose and analyze fault causes, capturing and evaluating error data
• Organize and initiate nationwide service schedules, either from the headquarters or the technician’s home office
• Demonstrate high travel readiness within Germany, including multi-day trips
Requirements:
• Right to work and travel within Germany
• Experience or training relevant to refrigeration or mechanical work preferred
• Valid European Driver's License (Class B)
• Willingness to undertake frequent travel, including overnight stays
