This role involves the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, networks, servers, and telecommunications equipment. You will perform cabling, testing, and installation activities for structured networks, WLAN, and digital infrastructure. The position also includes analyzing and resolving technical issues through on-site and remote support, assisting in project planning, documenting work, and supporting system updates and customer training.
Role Overview:
As an IT-Systemelektroniker, you will be a key contributor to implementing and supporting IT and network solutions, ensuring reliable operation and customer satisfaction within a collaborative team environment.
Key Skills & Experience:
• German language skills at C1 level or higher
• Experience in installing and maintaining IT and network infrastructure (copper and fiber optic)
• Knowledge of WLAN technologies and network analysis is advantageous
• Skilled in handling network measuring and testing devices
• Technical understanding with a meticulous and independent work approach
• Customer-focused with strong service orientation
• Valid driver’s license (Class B) and willingness to travel within the region and sometimes beyond
• Basic knowledge of Windows systems and network technologies
• Experience with structured wiring, testing, and system configuration
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, assemble, and commission IT systems, networks, servers, and telecom devices
• Conduct cabling, testing, and installation in structured network and WLAN environments
• Configure hardware components like switches, routers, and access points
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues through support both on-site and remotely
• Contribute to project planning and execution of IT and electrical projects
• Document all work, including system configurations and test results
• Assist with system updates, maintenance, and security patches
• Provide customer support and training on new systems and equipment
Requirements:
• Completed training as an IT-Systemelektroniker, Informationselektroniker, or similar elektrotechnical qualification with IT focus
• Experience with installing and maintaining IT and network infrastructures (copper and fiber optic)
• Basic knowledge of Windows system administration and network tech
• Ability to use network testing and measuring tools confidently
• Valid driver’s license (Class B) and flexibility for local travel
• Excellent German language skills (minimum C1 level)
